I drove a cab in Los Angeles for six years. Long hours on the street taught me how to look, how to wait, and how to read people without asking questions. I’m interested in people when they’re unguarded—at work, with friends, focused on what they’re doing. I don’t direct or interrupt. I pay attention.
I moved to Los Angeles in 2003; after working a range of jobs, I found my way onto the gravity field of film sets. From that point on, the camera became central to my life. I built my career not only as a photographer, but also as a 1st AC and focus puller for big productions.
Working on films, commercials, and music videos has sharpened my sense of composition, timing, and discipline. I’ve worked on projects featuring Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Megan Thee Stallion and Shawn Mendes. Photography, travel, and behind-the-scenes work keep my instincts alive.
